Rob Hahn and Sunny Lake Hahn met while at a real estate technology conference in 2016. It was magic from the very start, for many reasons. Only one of them was the perfect overlap between their respective industry expertise.
Rob focuses on Associations, Multiple Listing Services, and Technology and Sunny specialized in Brokerages, Brands, and Agents. They found that their individual specialties complemented each other’s perfectly, and brought a balance to the combined practice that had been previously missing. With a profound love for the real estate industry, Rob and Sunny have been challenging the status quo and empowering companies to operate beyond ordinary commerce.
Rob was born in Korea and moved to the States when he was nine. The child of Methodist ministers, he lived throughout the Northeast for most of his life. As a PK ("Preacher's Kid"), Rob moved every two years and ended up attending four elementary schools, two junior high schools, and two high schools.
Sunny was born and raised in Seattle, in the same house where her father still lives, and then moved to Bellingham for school and fell in love with the access to the outdoor activities - she is an avid runner and hiker. While Rob's idea of running involves internal combustion -- "Is the engine running?"
Nonetheless, out of such differences, a beautiful unity is born. Not only are Rob and Sunny business partners, but they were married in 2017, surprising everyone -- not the least of whom were the two of them! Rob lured Sunny away from the Pacific Northwest to Texas with promises of sunshine and a life of adventure - and he delivered on all fronts.

Rob has a varied background from finance, corporate law, technology, product development, media and entertainment, startups, fashion and even as a professional card player, He brings a unique perspective to business problems. Rob started in real estate at a specialized commercial real estate investment firm investing in airplane hangars (true story!). He moved on to Realogy, where he headed the interactive marketing for Coldwell Banker Commercial. Rob writes the well-known blog Notorious R.O.B., where he opines on topics in real estate, technology, marketing, and strategy through far-too-long posts. He is a prolific speaker at industry events, such as Inman Connect, T3 Summit, local, state and National Association events. Somehow named to the Inman 100 Most Influential People list despite his best efforts not to be noticed, he notes that with great power comes great responsibility. Conversely, with very little power comes very little responsibility.

Sunny Lake Hahn
Sunny has over 14 years experience in real estate sales and brokerage management. Prior to real estate, she spent 7 years in construction and design - working all phases of projects from RFPs to conception to handing over the keys. Her background also includes insurance sales and training for a nationwide provider - contracting with hospitals around the country to provide products and services, and providing ongoing training for C-suite, administrators, and staff. She has worked with real estate brokerages and agents from large, world-wide franchises, to independents and start-ups. She has spoken for a variety of organizations both in and out of real estate. Apart from the real estate industry, some of her clients include social media and marketing companies, non-profits, and technology firms.
An avid runner, Sunny has competed in and completed Ragnar (200ish mile relay race) and has the sticker to prove it, as well as a number of half marathons. In addition, Sunny has long been giving back to the community through various organizations, with Rotary International being a main channel.
