History

Rob focuses on Associations, Multiple Listing Services, and Technology. With a profound love for the real estate industry, Rob has been challenging the status quo and empowering companies to operate beyond ordinary commerce.

Rob was born in Korea and moved to the States when he was nine. The child of Methodist ministers, he lived throughout the Northeast for most of his life. As a PK (“Preacher’s Kid”), Rob moved every two years and ended up attending four elementary schools, two junior high schools, and two high schools.

Sunny focuses on Brokerages, Brands, and Technology and the intersections with Organized Real Estate. After nearly 20 years in the real estate industry – including sales and brokerage management, and industry communications at Zillow – she understands the challenges and opportunities practitioners and consumers face as they navigate each transaction.

She was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and her dad still lives in the home she grew up in – for real. While her roots run deep, she has since experienced the personal rollercoaster of relocating around the country, making new connections along the way.

Sunny Lake Hahn

Partner

After 15 years in real estate sales and brokerage management, Sunny turned her time and attention to helping agents, brokerages, and other real estate companies on a larger scale. Her background also includes insurance sales and training for a nationwide provider – contracting with hospitals around the country to provide our products and services, and providing ongoing training for C-suite, administrators, and staff.

With a mind for operations and heart for service, she is able to work with small businesses to become more profitable, have a greater impact, and create delightful interactions. Most small business owners and real estate agents have vision and can do their jobs extremely well, but they struggle with the systems and processes that help them scale their businesses and focus on what they do best. Sunny has worked with real estate brokerages and agents from large, world-wide franchises, to independents and start-ups. Outside of the real estate industry, some of her clients include social media and marketing companies, non-profits, and small tech firms.

Where 7DS Associates differs from most industry consultants is that we conduct conflict-checks prior to taking on any new clients. You can rest assured knowing that we will not be advising your competitors. While that may cost us business, it allows us to focus solely on what is in our client’s best interest. There is no replacement for integrity.

We take confidentiality seriously. With Rob’s legal and Sunny’s real estate sales and brokerage background, fiduciary duty means something to us. From the initial consultation, throughout the term of our contract and beyond, we keep our client’s’ confidences. We won’t discuss or name our clients without express written consent, or if ethics or the law requires us to.
